Mission and Goals

Evan's Box Mission

Evan’s Box exists to provide grieving families of angel babies keepsake items such as blankets, hats, and wraps to honor and remember their loss. By doing so, Evan’s Box will also ensure that healthcare workers who directly interact with angel babies and their families treat them with the dignity and compassion they deserve. Because every baby, no matter how small, deserves to be warm and cozy.

Evan's Box Goals

1. Provide even the tiniest angel baby born something cozy and warm, ensuring that they are treated like any other baby.

2. Gift grieving mothers and families something to go home with to cherish the memory of their baby.

3. Foster a hospital environment where women delivering angel babies will feel seen, heard, and supported.

4. Offer a keepsake item to mothers who never received any kind of keepsake for their angel baby.

5. Ensure that all people, especially healthcare workers who directly interact with angel babies and their families, view angel babies as actual human children and treat them and their grieving families with the dignity and compassion afforded to any family who has lost a child of any age.
